Seguno product updates

Now you can create a newsletter from an existing Shopify segment. From the "Use segment" action in the top right of the segment page, select "Seguno Email" and the "Newsletter" action to start a newsletter create flow in Seguno. The segment is automatically applied to recipients after the newsletter is created.

The new Seguno Reviews Summary app block shows you the overall rating, review counts, and review percentages for products inside your admin. Selecting a star rating section opens the Seguno Reviews app with the star rating and product filters applied.

When selecting an image from your Shopify Files in an email or popup design, you can now see the most recently updated images first.

We now support bulk discounts that are "Buy X, Get Y" with a fixed amount off each item.

Now you can see a link to all your Seguno product reviews from the Products page in your Shopify admin by selecting "More actions," "View product reviews."

All popups that take an email/phone subscription are now protected by captcha automatically. The captcha is invisible until the popup detects a likely bot, and then will prompt them to solve the captcha.

Email Reports now allow merchants to more easily select the newsletters, automations, or campaigns they are interested in viewing. The new “All activities” option reveals the 8 most recently updated newsletters, 5 most recently activated automations, and 5 most recently sent or recently updated campaigns. You can also use the search function to pull up to 16 matches for the query in each section.

Review metafields have been now been enhanced for Google rich snippets and are synced across products for accuracy.

The Newsletters list page has been updated with a new look and feel to make searching, sorting, and filtering your newsletters easier. Now you can see the newsletter send date, sales from sent newsletters, and campaign engagement and conversion data all from the list view.

Product, order, and customer detail pages now have the ability to add an admin block for reviews that will provide quick details for all the reviews left for the given details context. Blocks must be manually added by navigating to the admin page, scrolling to the App block section, selecting Seguno Reviews, and pinning the block.

Migrating your reviews to Seguno is easier than ever. We now support review imports from six different services: Shopify Product Reviews, Judge.me, Yotpo, Loox, Junip, and Fera.

A badge now appears on list pages and a banner now appears on detail pages for popups containing an email field when an active Welcome or Customer Tagged automation is not detected.

Thirteen new languages have been added to the list of supported languages for templates and newsletters. Languages can be added from the Settings page. Supported languages now include: Chinese (Traditional), Chinese (Simplified), Finnish, Hungarian, Greek, Indonesian, Korean, Lithuanian, Norwegian, Portuguese, Thai, Turkish, and Vietnamese.

A warning banner now displays on detail and list pages when the Seguno Popups app embed is not detected on your store theme.

Now you can use Primary, Secondary, or Small button types in the "text column with images" email section.

The Futura font is now supported in both Seguno Email and Seguno Popups.

Discount code sets deleted from Shopify will be automatically deleted in the Bulk app.

The dashboard refresh features an updated layout and new sections that make it easier to monitor your account, track performance and access helpful resources.

There is now an option in the popup Trigger settings to target different device types: any device, mobile phone, or desktop/tablet. If exit intent (built exclusively for desktop) is selected, desktop/tablet is automatically selected and the other options become disabled.

Quickly make edits to sections with the new Action Bar, located beneath the selected section in the preview area. This allows you to take actions like “Move up,” “Move down,” “Duplicate,” “Hide,” and “Remove” for that current section.

The editor now shows a thumbnail of relevant image sections and a snippet of text sections in the section list, making it easier for merchants to find the section they want to edit, especially on mobile.

All product and collection sections in the Seguno email editor will now use 600x600 pixel images when the “Crop to fit” property is used. This update improves the image quality, especially on mobile devices with high pixel density displays.

When copying and pasting content from one rich text editor to another within our email and popup apps, the links and styling are now preserved to save you even more time.

Hide the overlay to allow visitors to navigate the store without needing to first interact with the popup. This is great when your popup's first step is a small teaser you want to keep out of the way until they are interested in learning more.

We already handled smart linking of images from your Instagram or product libraries but now we will automatically link to your shop's homepage when selecting an uploaded image or the available free images to ensure you're not missing out on those important clicks.

Instead of waiting for an order to be fulfilled, you can trigger a Product Purchased automation after an order is created. In both cases, the order must also be marked as paid.

The dashboard setup guide shows which tasks are essential, like confirming your send settings (great for deliverability) and activating key automations (huge revenue drivers), checking them off as you go.

Whether you want to translate or just better personalize your message, you can target popups to only show to shoppers visiting your store in specific languages. Requires you to have multiple languages configured in the Shopify Admin settings area.

Now it's easier to include or exclude entire areas of your site when configuring popup settings by using an asterisk at the end of the URL path. This is particularly helpful when including or excluding areas of your site that may have a lot of variations.

You may now select product variants when choosing eligible products in the "Applies to" section, or when configuring the "Customer buys" or "Customer gets" sections for the "Buy X, Get Y" discount type. Additionally, you may now configure customer eligibility by selecting one or more segments in the "Customer eligibility" section.

New starter email templates are now available! Along with refreshed designs, this update includes 21 new templates for newsletter content; 4 new campaign templates for coordinated launches and promotions; and automation templates for new users. All starter newsletter templates are freely available in the Template Store. Starter campaign templates are automatically available in the "Create campaign" area of Newsletters.

Now it's easier to manage your menu and socials without having to remove menu items or social accounts. In the Header section, you can now hide or show the menu (which will also hide or show the menu in the footer on mobile devices). You can also hide or show the icons for social media accounts in the Footer.

The new Countdown section in Seguno Popups includes three options to drive urgency in your popup design: a regular timer, a countdown to midnight (calculated based on the local time from the browser viewing the popup), and popup end date (which will countdown to the date when the popup deactivates).

You can now hover between sections in the email editor preview and select the plus icon to insert a new section.

The app block for email sign up now supports adding a background image.

There is now an option to change the product image after selecting a product in the Featured products and Product list sections when the product has more than 1 photo. Changing the product image will override the "Use main product image" checkbox and variant image if a variant has been selected.

The new Subscribers report helps you easily visualize your list trends and net growth. This report is accessible via the dashboard and includes a subscriber growth chart, subscriber count chart, and your 10 most recent subscribers.

Selecting a product image in the editor will now automatically pull in the Shopify media alt text and link URL in that section if those fields are blank. If no alt text has been added to the product media, the product title will be used.

The Featured product section now includes a number of new customization options, including a new content spacing slider that allows you to easily adjust the padding between products and more style options for single call-to-action buttons. Additionally, the default button copy for this section has changed to "Shop now."

Recently edited sections of your email are now indicated by a grey highlight bar in the section menu.

As part of our ongoing editor enhancements, you can now change the background color of any section in the editor; change button styles in Product list, Featured product, Collection list, Featured blog post, and Recent blog post sections; override prices in product sections; change color settings inside the Discount callout section; and choose the text alignment in the Testimonial section.

Seguno Bulk Discount Codes users may now filter their discount sets. Additionally, the discount set page will display up to 50 sets at a time.

Seguno Popups users can now set a "rest period" inside individual popup trigger settings to determine when the popup will display again after being closed for a certain duration, as short as 1 hour or up to 365 days. The current default setting is 1 week.

You can now remove primary sections from emails by selecting the delete icon or by editing the section and selecting "Remove section." Certain automation sections are still required and cannot be deleted.

Now you can target a wider audience and recover more abandoned checkouts by selecting the first email in your Abandoned checkout series to be transactional. Subsequent emails in the automation will only be sent to subscribers.

The sending report now includes the conversion rate metric, which is calculated based on the number of people who received the email and the number of people who placed an order.

Now you can enjoy a bigger, better workspace for creating emails inside Seguno and the embedded Canva editor. The new default fullscreen editing experience allows you to focus completely on your content. Exiting fullscreen from the Actions menu takes you into a wider version of the original editor.

The header and footer sections of your email can now be found inside the Theme settings tab.

We have added a number of improvements to the editor that include: an optional heading for the Gallery section; text alignment and button type settings for the Featured blog post section; and menu hover actions to remove, duplicate, and hide sections.

Get an idea of how your email will look before you select your Shopify products and collections. New placeholder renderings in product and collection sections help you visualize your layout before selecting content. Placeholders are only visible in the editor and in template screenshots; they are hidden when sent.

Now when you click "Create newsletter," the flow has been streamlined to take you directly into the editor after specifying the template, title, and required fields.

When you toggle fullscreen in the editor, your preference will be saved for that specific browser.

Find and choose a starting point for your popup even faster. On the Create popup page, new icons indicate the template type, trigger, and number of steps at a glance. Arrows allow you to page through popup steps before making your selection. Along with refreshed designs, there are also five new default templates available.
