Shopify has awarded the Built for Shopify (BFS) badge to Seguno Email Marketing, Seguno Popups & Forms, Seguno Product Reviews and Bulk Discount Code Bot — deeming Seguno the only marketing suite built for Shopify.
What is Built for Shopify?
Shopify launched the BFS program to help merchants quickly find top-notch, reliable ecommerce apps.
It identifies tools that meet Shopify’s highest safety, performance, and usefulness standards. Recipients range from marketing and conversion apps to store design, order, and shipping solutions.
The application period opened in the first half of 2023, inviting developers to submit their solutions for review. The process involves completing a rigorous checklist and making revisions or updates to ensure the app meets Shopify’s expectations.
Shopify evaluates apps on four criteria:
- Trustworthiness: must protect merchant data
- Speed: must be optimized for fast performance without damaging site speed
- Ease of use: must be integrated within Shopify Admin or POS and feature an intuitive interface
- Usefulness: must demonstrate value to merchants
Apps that meet the scoring threshold for each category earn the Built for Shopify stamp — a blue diamond icon and accompanying “Built for Shopify” label visible when scrolling the Shopify App Store.
